Randy Meyer Racing is a second generation NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster racing team. Randy Meyer is a multiple World Champion in the sport of drag racing and has dedicated more than 35 years to his career as the driver, owner and crew chief from AHRA Pro-Comp to IHRA Top Fuel and NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster. Meyer has passed his passion for racing on to his daughters, Megan and Rachel. Megan is making headlines of her own in her rookie year. Megan finished up her rookie season as a runner-up twice at the regional level, celebrated her first national event victory in the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at the zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, and became the quickest female in NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competition with a blistering 5.178 elapsed time during eliminations at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway. Megan remains second in points as the season comes to an end.

Randy Meyer also owns and operates Meyer Truck Center which specializes in building customized wreckers, rollbacks, and trailers. Meyer understands the challenges facing automotive technicians and shares the vision of Technician.Academy. Meyer states, “We are proud to partner up with Technician.Academy for the 2017 season. We wish to carry on our momentum from 2016 into next year’s racing season with the help from Shawn and Technician.Academy. It’s the best fit for us.” Megan agrees, “I see this partnership as the perfect opportunity to bring together two great teams. The automotive industry is always evolving and as the future of drag racing, I predict that we will have a tremendous race season next year. I’d like to bring light to the importance of educating tomorrow’s technician and use our skills as a team to help out the future of the automotive aftermarket. We are honored to become apart of the Extend Performance family and hope to bring exciting things to the table next year.” They both believe that hard work and dedication are the keys to success in the automotive industry.
